Hi! I'm Josh, it's nice to meet you. I am a software engineer from Baltimore, MD.
I really like to code, and have been doing it for a very long time. When I'm not writing code, you might find me playing piano, watching the Orioles or Ravens, or eating bagels.
Check out some of my projects below.
JackTV is a Next.js web application that allows people to search for videos using the Youtube API, and filters out any video that is longer than 6 minutes. This is a great tool for toddler bedtime routines (trust me, I can speak from experience).
SpotYou is a React/Gatsby web application that lets you connect Spotify and Youtube to watch your favorite music videos.
Spower Hour is an Angular 12 web application that lets you listen to the first minute of every song in a Spotify playlist.
Reading Hero is a mobile application built using Angular and the Ionic framework. It is currently available for download for free on for iOS on the App Store and for Android on the Google Play Store.
This app helps a child learn to read by showing them commonly used sight words and uses voice recognition to provide immediate feedback to let them know if they have read the word correctly.
Imma Let You Fipsum is a React/Gatsby 3 web application that lets you relive an infamous time in pop culture history while generating "Lorem Ipsum Style" placeholder text for your website, advertisement, or anything else you may be working on.
Would you like to work with me? Awesome!
